Accessibility

We pay great attention to the accessibility of our digital solutions. People with disabilities must have access to the functionalities with equivalent ease of use at the same time and in the same place as non-disabled people.

We support accessibility in the following ways:

All learning styles can be catered to; including kinestethic learners through use of the Prowise MOVE camera
All touchscreens have a variety of sensory outputs, including captioned videos and (3D) images with descriptive text. Nano-textured glass ensures clear vision in classrooms with lots of sunlight or changing light conditions, and the Blue Light Filter ensures safer eyes. The crystal-clear sound and bright visuals support students who learn best through vision and sound.
All touchscreens have a variety of input methods, such as the keyboard, mouse, remote control, touch, and even voice. The four wide area microphones that are part of the touchscreen register voices up to 26 feet away. Written formulas will turn into typed formulas, and drawn outlines of shapes will turn into actual shapes. Two people can touch the screen and/or write on it simultaneously without any problems. The MOVE camera allows clicks that are led by movement. Additionally, the touchscreen can be tilted, allowing safe operation of the screen for all students and teachers, including wheelchair users and small children.
The touchscreens' lifts can be operated by foot and Prowise Central, ensuring that the teacher or student's undivided attention can be directed towards the touchscreen, creating a safer environment for all.
Prowise touchscreens can be logged into using an individual NFC card affording a personalized experience: the touchscreen's lift will be set to a previously adjusted height, the visibility and audio settings will be set to personal preference, and the interface can be completely personalized, thus creating a predictable and consistent environment.
Prowise products work with laptops, computers, phones, tablets, and most other devices and are compatible with Apple and Windows.
Teachers can wirelessly connect displays and mixed technology environments so that they can share and collaborate easily, no matter where they are.
The Prowise MOVE camera can be used as a webcam to enable educators to teach students at home who are (long-term) sick, teach from a distance to students in other classrooms, or invite external professionals and experts to their lessons.

Affordability

Prowise Presenter consists of educational content and interactive possibilities for educators (instruction), classes (collaborative learning), and students (completing assignments), that allow educators to create and teach in an efficient and interactive way. Prowise Presenter is free to use for everyone, meaning educators have access to all of the lessons in Presenter for free. Presenter encourages collaboration at any time, from anywhere, and on any device. The online community lets everybody save, share, and open lessons. Currently, there are over 3.5 million lessons in the Presenter.

In addition to education, children deserve a carefree future in a climate neutral world. We aim to minimize our ecological footprint. This is why Prowise adheres to the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) business model and uses 80% recycled aluminium, 100% recyclable packaging, is WEEE, REACH, RoHs, and ENERGY STAR certified, and one tree is planted for every Prowise screen sold.

Additionally, for every touchscreen sold, 1 Euro goes to events for children. These events educate children how to become Climate Justice ambassadors and address global challenges.
